Evergreen Gravel Racing's Spring group ride. We'll meet at Olympia Coffee Roasters west side location around 9:15 for coffee, then roll out around 10. From town we'll ride a short distance on the road to a not-so-official Capitol Forest entrance, hop a gate, do some light bushwhacking, and pop out of the woods onto B8400. From there, we'll ride to Rock Candy Mountain where we'll have a mid-ride break for snacks, lunch, coffee (byo), whatever. Coming down from Rock Candy, we'll take the Divide trail for a mile or so and then hang a left onto C8000 for a roller coaster descent into the Sherman Valley and a few miles of pavement before heading north on the last gravel section of the ride- C9000. About a half mile of trail links C9000 with the paved road we'll take back to town.
