Swift Social Ride

December is here! In the spirit of cold weather riding a getting kozie we are going on a Hot Coco ride. I asked Gabby at Swift where their favorite coco spots was and she said, hands down, the best coco is at Up Town Espresso in West Seattle. So we are headed over to the Westside for a loop of the neighborhood I grew up in! We will leave Peleton at 10am and ride out around Alki Point, head south toward Lincoln Park, loop back north to the W. Seattle Junction for Coco and a snack, wiggle our way through the neighborhoods, dropping back down the old boat house at Marination Station, and finally pedaling back up to Peleton.

Its gonna be cold! It might snow Friday! If the roads are clear or a little slushy we will ride. If things are icy or snow is actively sticking to the ground we likely wont ride. You can find me at Peleton either way. If we need to changes the ride last minute to to weather we will. Most important thing, do we feels safe and comfy to you. See you all soon.

Join Swift Industries on our monthly social ride. Generally we stick close to town riding about 15-25 miles depending on the weather. This ride is intended to be social, meet new friends, chit-chat with old ones. We re-group regularly in safe stopping points. Often time you'll find us navigating short gravel cuts through the city. While we don't drop folks we also don't keep track of riders, we also don't always have a sweep rider. That leaves you the flexibility to leave when you need to, it also means you need to be prepared for your our safety and flat fixes. We aim to post the route ahead of time, but sometimes we miss that mark.
