Details
We will be delivering groceries to 5 seniors who are unable to travel to the food bank to pick groceries up for themselves.
Ride time is 50 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on the weather and weekly changes to the route (food bank clients being added or paused).
At 1pm - meet at the The Station coffee house.
A little after 1:15pm - we will roll over to the El Center food bank and pickup the grocery bags to deliver.
A little before 1:30pm - we will ride out from the food bank and deliver groceries as a group.
At 2:20pm - We should be done with the ride. If we finish up early we might go to a bakery in Columbia city.
Please bring
- A bike
- A way to carry at least 1 full paper grocery bag. Bike rack, backpack, large bike bag, bike trailer all work well!
- A helmet
- A bike lock
- A mask
