Like the Dirty Chilly, but in Bellevue! Inspired by the legendary Dirty Chilly this route is built to connect all the best dirt trails in Bellevue with climbs on roads and descents on the dirt where possible. Take a bridge instead of a Ferry to Bainbridge to get there, how novel!
Optional meet up and ride from the 520 trailhead on the Seattle side at 9:00am. https://maps.app.goo.gl/SCRUs3Xs5QD1cNGU7
This route acknowledges the existence of stairs and lifting your bike over obstacles which are sprinkled throughout. 40 miles, 3400ft, about 45% dirt, 55% paved. A capable bike with wider tires (40mm+) is recommended as some trails have small drops and rooty obstacles. These are dirt trails, some quite rough & narrow. Check the elevation as there are a couple Queen Anne sized (~300ft) punchy climbs.
No drop social pace and will do regroups after climbs but keep in mind this is a challenging ride in terms of length, elevation and terrain.
