π¨οΈπ΄ββοΈ Winter Wake-up Series π΄ββοΈπ¦
It might be dark, but the energy is high! Continue the momentum that we built during the summer together and join us for a weekly ride to keep the legs turning, the fitness improving, and the community strong throughout the winter.
The Winter Wake-up series will run Thursday mornings at 6:30AM (6:35AM roll-out) from Pacha Collective from November to March. On days that the weather is below 37 F (or snowy/icy/frosty), we will still be out there, but running!
Just like our Summer Nights series, there will be multiple groups, training (which is replacing spicy) and a long and short brisk group. Each group will have their own route designed to take ~80-90 mins of riding so that everyone can return to Pacha around 8AM for a quick social half-hour before heading off to work. We canβt wait to see you out there.
Training rideπͺ: 15-18 MPH pedaling warm-up and cooldown, each week this group will do laps on a different local segment or climb! Please join and go at your own pace. Brisk ride longπ¨ π¨: 16-18 MPH pedaling, regroup Brisk ride short π¨: 13-15 MPH pedaling, regroup, Routes are always posted on the Brevay Strava page the week of the ride!
Note: At this time we are not able to offer a no-drop option for our winter series. Each group (except training) will regroup after hills, but given morning work time crunch make sure you have the route in case you need it.
GEAR Bike (e-bikes welcome), helmet, ID, kit to fix a flat, taillight and headlight required, and the route. And a fender if it is raining to protect your friends from splatter π§οΈ
