Hi folks, welcome to the STP '26 Group Ride! We are volunteer led and free to join. All are welcome, come as you are!
The group will be riding the 2-Day option, keeping a casual pace between 12-16mph. We'll take breaks at each major rest stop (roughly every 20-25 miles). Everyone is welcome to ride at whatever pace they want. There's no obligation to stay with the group, feel free to pick up the pace or slow it down as you want.
This group is mostly for moral support to help get each other across the finish line. Ride with us or at your own pace, taking comfort in having friends spread throughout the entirety of the course. STP is a blast but it's also quite the challenge, making friends along the way and sharing the experience makes the ride a bit easier and much more of an adventure!
To get everyone on the same page, there's a discord server for this ride where anyone can ask questions, form training rides, and share the stoke.
Details for a bakery/cafe ride in Portland, the Monday after the ride, will be posted closer to the ride date. It will be in the style of a Good Weather Sunday Social ride. Time frame of 10:30am-2:00pm, 15-20 miles. Portland's very flat and has an excellent food scene, which makes for ideal recovery ride conditions! So stick around an extra day, shake out the legs, and get some pastries with us!
Registration! Cascade's doing tiered pricing again this year. Get in on the current rate before the next price increase. If you have friends interested in riding STP then consider going in on a 5-pack, there's a 10% bulk discount with them.
If you're opting for a single entry, here's my ambassador promo code for a free pair of limited edition STP 2026 Wool Socks:
š§¦š§¦š§¦ STPSEB26 š§¦š§¦š§¦
Unfortunately, the promo code does not work with 5-packs, it's for individual registration only... But! For those of you going for 5-packs, ambassadors can still get a referral, which helps us a lot!
The referrals keep the STP Ambassador program alive, which allows us to do some pretty fun stuff with the backing of Cascade, such as this group ride. The referrals may not mean much to y'all, but it does to us, and keeps us able to continue doing silly bike things with friends old and new.
Feel free to drop a referral here in the comment section, the discord channel, or dm on ig @thebigsebowski
Hope to see y'all on the course!
