Saturday, November 26th Join Pedaling Relief Project for a special food bank grocery delivery and social ride!
As a group we'll be delivering groceries to families and seniors who are experiencing food insecurity in the University District and Ravenna neighborhoods. When we deliver to apartment buildings we'll have a few riders watch bikes while everyone else runs in to deliver groceries.
After the grocery deliveries we'll bike to Caffe Ladro Ravenna for coffee, tea, and pastries.
A cargo bike is NOT required! Bring any bike that can carry at least 1 full grocery bag. Bike trailers (both hitch and seat post) are available to borrow at the food bank. If you want to learn more about using a bike trailer - stop by on Saturday and talk to one of our organizers.
Snow/ice cancels. We still ride in the rain as the groceries will still need to be deliveries. If it is raining, we might skip the socal time after, or bike to another place.
For the ride, bring
