Types of Events

Pace

  • Easy (Under 10 mph)
  • Leisurely (10-12 mph)
  • Steady (12-14 mph)
  • Moderate (14-16 mph)
  • Brisk (16-18 mph)
  • Vigorous (18-20 mph)
  • Strenuous (20-22 mph)
  • Super Strenuous (22+ mph)

Distance

  • 0-3 miles
  • 3-8 miles
  • 8-15 miles
  • 15+ miles

Terrain

  • Mostly flat (Trails and/or mostly flat roads with a possible gentle uphill)
  • Rolling (Climbs are short and easy, not too numerous)
  • Some hills (A few short, steep hills, some moderate upgrades and/or longer gentle climbs)
  • Hilly (Consistent or continuous climbing)
  • Off-road (Significant unpaved sections)

Regroup

  • No regroups
  • Occasional regroups
  • Frequent regroups
  • Stay together

Audience

Event audience helps riders know if an event is right for them.

  • General — most rides and events
  • Family Friendly — distance, content, and pace is appropriate for kids
  • Adults only (21+) — drinking or other adult activities (nudity, etc)

Visibility

Visibility controls who can see the event.

  • Public — visible to everyone
  • Group — visible only to group members
  • Unlisted — accessible via direct link, not shown in listings
  • Private — visible only to invited riders

Weather Cancellation

  • Showers cancel
  • Steady rain cancels
  • Ice/snow cancels
  • Rain or shine

Registration Type

  • Open Listing
  • External Registration Required
  • Everyday Rides Request to Join — vet your riders — great for limited-capacity rides, private routes, or skill-gated events
