University District Food Bank grocery delivery ride

Details

Join Pedaling Relief Project for a weekly food bank grocery delivery and social ride!

We'll be delivering groceries to families and seniors who are experiencing food insecurity in the University District and Ravenna neighborhoods.

Route varies in length from week to week. It's always less than 5 miles.

After the grocery deliveries we'll bike to Seven Coffee Roasters Market & Cafe for coffee, tea, and pastries.

A cargo bike is NOT required! Bring any bike that can carry at least 1 full grocery bag. Bike trailers (both hitch and seat post) are available to borrow at the food bank. If you want to learn more about using a bike trailer - stop by on Saturday and talk to one of our organizers.

Snow/ice cancels. We still ride in the rain as the groceries will still need to be deliveries. If it is raining skip the socal time after, or bike to another place.

On the sign up page click the green Sign Up button next to the Group - University District route - Social meet after volunteer slot.

Hope to see you there!
