This is just a last minute, organized, community ride to Fay Bainbridge, July 3rd-4th. We will meet in the evening around 6:30 and come back to the Seattle Ferry by 11ish, at the latest (we/you can leave earlier if the group/individual wants to). A true weekday overnighter. Upon arriving to Bainbridge Island, we will take a short stroll to the grocery store to pick up snacks and dinner if you so choose. We pack everything to go, and head straight to Fay Bainbridge Park along back roads. We will be taking the most popular route there. An average pace of 10-12 mph would be cool, but we’re in no rush and this is truly a no drop ride. If you’ve never done this ride before, just know you’re going to climb some short climbs, all packed down with camping gear! It’ll get your heart pumping. We will certainly have our tents set up before dark, and we can hang out and make s'mores on our camp stoves (Shannon is bringing s’mores stuff). We hope to get on the 10:25 AM ferry the following morning, which means we need to leave camp around 9. Folks are totally welcome to come and go as they please, these are just the times chosen by the organizer/ride leader. P.S. We recommend you bring ear plugs, the camp ground will be full. Email Shannon at Smangancyclist@gmail.com if you have any questions.
