JOIN FOR A NIGHT OF TERROR AND THRILL!
Get outside and embrace the season of tricks and scares by riding your bike in the woods after dark. This is a challenging off-road bicycle adventure involving significant sections of single track and remote forest roads with a convenient opportunity to bail at the halfway point. The route begins and ends from the Preston Park & Ride and follows two loops.
The first loop navigates through Grand Ridge to Duthie hill and from there to the top of Mitchell Hill before steeply descending back to Preston.
The second loop mostly uses the Snoqualmie Valley trail to connect Preston, Fall city, and Snoqualmie, but includes a brief leg on roads as well as some Steep Secret Suburban Single track™.
NOTE There is a passable trail closure at mile 34 due to a damaged bridge with a broken support post. Ride at your own risk, and consider detouring north on Lake Alice Road Southeast.
Good lights are a must. Plan to bring on-bike lights as well as a headlamp, plus spare batteries or a way to charge.
• Self supported (RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK) • No drop (semi-frequent regroups) • Big tires recommended • Mountain biking experience is strongly recommended
