Riso & Ride is a combination Risograph workshop and social bike ride. On April 11th at Common Area Maintenance, come make spoke cards with us and then show off your colorful creation on a group ride from Belltown to the Central District and back again.
For the Riso portion of the event (theme: BLOOM), various drawing mediums, paper, and collage materials will be provided. The ticket price includes six printed and laminated two-color Riso spoke cards of your design.
After everyone’s spoke cards have been printed, laminated, and stuck in bike wheels, we’ll celebrate the art we made together with a leisurely twelve-mile loop to the Central District and back. The route will feature beautiful Seattle vistas and fun stops along the way, including The Bikery, the CD’s own nonprofit community bike shop.
