Don't worry, we won't be riding fast, we'll just be going to see other speedy bike riders!
Come watch some very fast bike riders compete on the track at the Marymoor Grand Prix! We'll be riding around the top of Lake Washington along the Burke Gilman and Sammamish River trails and over to Marymoor Park to watch the action. This is a longer ride than most of the Brompton rides, about 24 miles, but the trail is very flat and we'll make a stop at Blyth Park for water and bathrooms. Once we reach the velodrome, you're all welcome to stay and hangout and watch the racing for as long as you'd like (racing starts at 6pm). There should be food trucks there for dinner, and DT Redmond is a short bike ride away as well with plenty of options. Marymoor Village Station is near by as well for an easy ride back to Seattle. As always, Bromptons are encouraged but all bikes are more than welcome!
