This is an all-day bike ride centered on building community and exploring Western Washington. Fixed gear track bikes are encouraged for there will be a "safety second- don't stop, take risks" ride mentality at a med/fast-pace that is inherently found in riding track bikes on the street, but all bikes and styles of riding welcome. Have fun in the streets. Look out for each other. (Please ride to your own ability and feel free to meet up the checkpoints). Bring water, snacks, tools, tubes, layers, and well-prepared bike, everything to be out on your bike for the day. 420 safety meetings and BYOB too if that’s your thing. Checkpoints are for chilling and socializing.
For January, we are doing a fun variation of the Lake Washington Loop! Start at Sturgus Park with checkpoints at Seward Park Market, Heritage Park, Log Boom Park, and ending at Supreme Pizza. Meet up at Sturgus Park at 930am for a safety sesh roll out at 10am ride ends when we go home. Smiles and Love
