Have the gear and want to try camping by bike? Join Mel on an overnighter to Fay Bainbridge to kick off the summer bike camping season! Ideal for beginner bike campers, this sub-24 hour camping trip is a great way to get acquainted with hiker/biker campsites, taking the ferry, navigating via a predetermined route, and riding with a fully loaded bike.
Our meetup point is Westlake Park, which is easily accessible via light rail and other public transit. Meet at 5:15 to get to know your fellow riders, safety briefing and roll out promptly at 5:45PM on May 25th.
All riders must be fully vaccinated, able to repair a flat tire or puncture, and comfortable sharing the road with cars. More details on the registration page.
