Bike Happy Hour: Solstice Edition

This Thursday is Summer Solstice! Come bask in the sunny vibes and enjoy the longest day of the year with friends and fellow cyclists.

The spot is the big grassy area at Myrtle Edwards Park just north of pocket beach and south of the three rocks gravel area. It’s between the cycling trail and walking trail on a little hill surrounded by tall trees on three sides. We went there once back in 2022!

BYOB / snacks. This is a meetup style event where we’ll hang out in the park until the last person decides to leave.

The closest restroom is in the park about 1/3 mile west of the meetup spot. There are small markets in interbay and scattered downtown but none are super accessible from the park so plan ahead and bring what you need.

I will lead an optional ride to the park from Free Range Cycles leaving at 5:30pm. We will ride will cross the Fremont bridge then head West and ride through interbay to get down to the waterfront. Preview the optional pre-ride route
