West Seattle Garage Sale Day Bike Bingo

Garage Sale Day is coming back to West Seattle, and much like a pony, we’re gonna ride it. Part scavenger hunt, part alleycat, this bike bingo challenges you to find and take pictures of items for sale, and locations throughout West Seattle in a casual race format. The quickest, and most completionist among you are competing for prizes, some of which your competitors may be buying along the way. With over 500 garage sales, Garage Sale Day is truly an event to experience, and it is best experienced on a bicycle. West Seattle is basically an island, or so all my friends tell me, and where else do you find treasure but on islands? They await on every parking strip and streetcorner, and maybe even some at the end of the ride.

At the starting location, you and whatever friends you may wrangle up will be given a bingo card. Squares on the cards can be filled by finding and taking pictures of the item matching that description. There are a couple locations squares as well, to make sure you fully explore what West Seattle has to offer. Once your card is filled to your satisfaction (there will be prizes for fastest bingo and most complete), head to the highest point in Seattle at Myrtle Reservoir Park for food and to show off anything you might have bought along the way.
