It's time again for the Swift Campout, an international overnight bike camping weekend during the Summer Solstice. The All Bodies on Bikes - Seattle chapter is leading a 20-mile group ride from the Issaquah Transit Center out to Tolt-MacDonald Park & Campgrounds in Carnation, WA. There, we will have an overnight campout. The next morning, ride back together. The route will contain gravel paths, country roads, and bike paths. Pace 8-10 mph. No drop. Bring everything you need for an overnight camping trip on your bike. There will be a grocery and convenience store close by for additional supplies. The group campsite has a covered shelter with tables, firepit, and porta-potties. The spot is a bit rural with a water spigot about 1/4 mile down the trail. Showers and physical restrooms are a short ride to another section of the park. We are capping the group at 20+/- campers, registration details to come.
