Fall Equinox Sunset Photo Ride

For our September Wednesday Wander ride from Sound Break, we'll be celebrating the fall equinox and turn of the seasons. An earlier sunset (around 7pm on this day) means we get to soak it in, capture the moment, and still go to bed at a reasonable hour! Note: Wednesday Wander rides will typically be on the third Wednesday of the month, but this one’s rescheduled due to a conflict.

This ride is for anyone who likes riding bikes and wants to practice photography - no matter the camera or the bike. Be ready to capture special moments along the way and/or at scenic stops, and likely be in others' photos as well. Don't be shy, wear a cute little outfit!

This will be a shorter ride, probably about 10 miles or less, to accommodate our photo stops. Route TBA. We'll have some stops & regroups along the way.

This ride will be a loop, returning to Sound Break for some cute bevs and new food items on our menu (TBA closer to the date). You can feel free to leave some bags in the locker room to ride light if you plan to come back to the end (BYO lock, no overnight use).

SCHED: 5pm MEETUP at Sound Break, in RailSpur Alley. 115 S Jackson St, in Pioneer Square. Drinks, bathrooms, locker room available. 5:30pm ROLL OUT for a ~10 mile loop ride within the city. If you have scenic stop requests, email me at summer@soundbreak.cc with suggestions!

GUIDELINES:

• Please ride a functioning bike, wear a helmet, and have some comfort riding in the city.
• Bring lights for riding after dark!
• Be respectful of others using the road and trails.
• Flat fix supplies and basic tools are encouraged.
• We use the buddy system to keep track of folks, and you're welcome to peel off early as long as you tell your buddy or leave together. If your buddy leaves, please join another buddy group!

All riders are required to sign the waiver (linked above, or via Strava) before joining our rides.
