Join us in welcoming Lee Hanses, PT, DPT from The Fitting Room, a bike fitting studio located inside of Good Weather bike shop in Capitol Hill! This event is for women, trans, femme & non-binary folks who are interested in learning how to make your bike more comfortable.
Bring your bike if you can, grab a drink, and drop in for a low-commitment and free way to learn about bike fitting - a great way to modify your bike to improve your comfort while cycling. If you're new to riding a bike, this can inform you on finding one or setting yours up. If you're practiced in the saddle and want to learn how to make tweaks to get more comfortable while riding, it's definitely for you too!
Feel free to stop by for any amount of time, depending on your schedule! This is an informal event where attendees can observe and/or participate, depending on preference and availability.
We'll follow this rough schedule: 1-2pm meet/mingle/chat 2-4pm bike fit demo with volunteers 4-5pm Q&A with Lee & mingle
We're experimenting with weekday workshop timing to see if this works well for folks in the area. Feel free to let us know if you have suggestions or feedback for similar events: you can email us at theteam@soundbreak.cc
If you're interested in volunteering, or hands-on assistance, we recommend wearing shorts, and shoes you'd likely wear while cycling.
