Found: Birds, Bikes, & Burgers - July 31, 2021
Join us for an introductory birding event - on wheels! The WA Department of Fish and Wildlife is partnering with Bike Works and the Seward Park Audubon Center in Seattle to take you on a casual bike ride to showcase some local birding hotspots.
Burgers and water will be provided ! Info and dietary requests will be forwarded to participants once registered.
General info Bike route: moderate skill level, approx. 7 miles roundtrip (see image)
Birding skill level: novice
Participants: Riders must be 9 years or older, unless you have a trailer, tagalong, or similar method of bringing them along so they aren't riding independently.
You will learn to:
- use binoculars
- identify common backyard birds of Washington
- find local birding resources
- find local resources for renting or repairing a bike
